About the Family Behind the Food
My family is from Nusco, Italy, in la Campania (mountain region) south of Rome. In 1970, my parents, Giovanni and Caterina moved to America. 24 years later they started Collegeville Italian Bakery and have been baking fresh bread from scratch ever since.
My husband, Steve, and I are happy to run our retail store, now known as Collegeville Italian Bakery Pizzeria Napoletana, and carry on all of our family traditions. Catering is available.
We pride ourselves on preparing fresh fileted chicken breast that make the best chicken cutlets sandwiches. We never use lunchmeat roast beef for our sandwhiches and catering, only fresh roasted hand tied Top Round will do served with the perfect au jus it produces while roasting. We also roast our own turkey breast that makes all the difference in our turkey hoagies, and lets not forget to stop in on Wednesdays for hand-carved turkey with the trimming, every Wednesday is Thanksgiving Day at the bakery.
Our customized tomato pies are perfect for graduations, sporting events, school functions, business lunches, tailgates and so much more!
